About

To provide food resources and education to members of the University of Missouri family and University of Missouri Health Care workers in need while exemplifying the University’s four core values of Respect, Responsibility, Discovery, and Excellence.

Mission Statement

Tiger Pantry strives to serve, educate and empower those facing food insecurity within the University of Missouri community. We advocate to change the perception of hunger on campus and to offer resources to students, faculty, and staff so that they may focus on the experiences uniquely available at Mizzou.

Tiger Pantry was founded on November 14, 2012 and based off of the Full Circle Pantry at the University of Arkansas. A member of the MSA Executive Cabinet, Nick Droege, worked with faculty and students to establish a similar pantry for the Mizzou community.

Tiger Pantry serves as an auxiliary of the Central and Northeast Missouri Food Bank, providing assistance to anyone affiliated with the university, including students, faculty, and staff. The pantry not only provides food for its clients, but also works to educate the campus on issues of food insecurity and the intersectionality of hunger.
