How to Use Tiger Pantry

Until further notice, Tiger Pantry will continue to offer curbside pick-up or delivery service in order to reduce in-person contact. We will guarantee that any orders filled out before 11 a.m. on Sunday, Tuesday or Wednesday will be filled that day and can be expected to be delivered or picked up that day. We will check the forms as best we can after 11 a.m. but cannot guarantee that they will be filled. Anyone who using Tiger Pantry for the first-time will have to fill out the New Household Form below in addition to filling out a delivery or curbside pickup form.

Curbside pick-up

Offered Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday: **Note: Winter hours- Only available on Sundays from November 17-January 17**

  • Please fill out our online order form monthly for non-perishables and weekly for produce.
  • Forms will be updated each week to reflect the produce that we have available.
  • Please be as detailed as possible with your dietary preferences and clearly indicate whether you have a microwave, oven or can opener so we can prepare the order for you properly.

Delivery

This service will only be available on Sundays for individuals who fit one (1) of the below requirements:

  1. High-risk status. Based upon available information to date, those at high-risk for severe illness from COVID-19 include:
    • People aged 65 years and older
    • People who live in nursing homes or long-term care facilities
    • Other high-risk conditions could include:
      • People with chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma
      • People who have serious heart conditions
      • People who are immunocompromised, including those receiving cancer treatment
      • People of any age with severe obesity (body mass index [BMI] >40) or certain underlying medical conditions, particularly if not well controlled (such as those with diabetes, renal failure or liver disease) might also be at risk
      • People who are pregnant should be monitored since they are known to be at risk with severe viral illness; however, to date data on COVID-19 has not shown increased risk
  1. Individuals who use Tiger Pantry AND are currently under orders to quarantine or self-isolate due to a COVID-19 close contact exposure or positive test result. Delivery services will only be available for the duration of the quarantine or isolation period. After that time, please return to using curbside pickup.

If you fit the eligibility for delivery service, please fill out this form so we can have your address and will know where to deliver. Delivery will take place on Sundays between noon and 2 p.m.

New household form

Anyone who is using Tiger Pantry for the first-time will need to fill out the New Household Form in addition to filling out a delivery or curbside pickup form, which can be found here.

MU Health Care employees who are in extra need of food have access to food and household items for themselves and their families through Tiger Pantry. This new collaboration was brought together by the MU Health Care African Heritage Employee Resource Group.
